Grand Canyon
Little Colorado River Gorge. On the way to the East entrance to the Grand Canyon
More from the Vista point.
Made it to the Grand Canyon. This the Watchtower are the start of Desert View Rd. This structure is patterned after a cerimonial building called a Kiva, that was built by the ancient Pueblo people. In most areas it would have been built almost entirely under ground. The ground in this area the was so full of rock that the Pueblo people built more of the structure above ground but never as tall at this one built by architect Mary Colter in 1932
